Boom Gates Sunshine Coast

Built for Queensland. Engineered to Last. Ready to Install.
Our Sunshine Coast boom gates are an automatic boom gate built specifically for Queensland conditions, combining brushless servo drive technology, intelligent control and comprehensive safety in one complete, ready-to-install solution.
Why Choose a Boom Gate?
Vehicle access control comes down to speed and reliability, and a boom gate delivers both. Sliding and swing gates need room to move and time to complete a cycle. Boom gates lift and drop in seconds, so traffic keeps moving and access stays fully controlled.
Car parks, residential complexes, industrial facilities and secure sites across the Sunshine Coast all depend on that kind of turnaround. Space is rarely generous on any of them, and boom gates need only the width of the driveway and clearance for the arm to lift, which is why they work on sites where sliding gates would never fit.
Maintain smooth traffic flow
Improve site safety
Prevent unauthorised entry
Enhance overall security
Why Choose Create Security’s Sunshine Coast Boom Gates?
Create Security has worked with boom gates for more than 35 years, across a wide range of brands and installations. That experience has shown us how different systems perform once they are installed and running in Queensland conditions.
The Australian commercial market has long relied on imported boom gates from European and Asian manufacturers, resold locally. Those products are built to an overseas manufacturer’s specification rather than for the environmental and operating demands of Queensland.
Our Sunshine Coast automatic boom gates came out of that experience. Create Security established its own specification, written around a boom gate suited to Queensland conditions and the way sites here operate.

Engineered for Queensland’s Conditions
Heat, moisture and vermin ingress can all affect boom gate reliability and component life. The CS Maxima is engineered with these Queensland conditions in mind, from high temperatures, intense UV, heavy storms and high humidity to coastal exposure and the challenges posed by ants, geckos and other vermin.
Brushless Servo Motor Technology
At the heart of the CS Maxima is a 50W brushless 24VDC servo motor, providing precise control, efficient operation, and dependable performance. Key performance features include:
- PWM variable-frequency servo technology for precise, controlled operation
- Integrated angle encoder for digital servo control
- 100% duty cycle to support continuous operation
- Manufacturer-rated 10-million-cycle MTBF for long-term reliability

Engineered for Reliability
- Soft start/stop control for smooth, controlled operation
- Drive control system maintains consistent speed and torque in varying conditions
- IP64-rated sealed electronics cabinet protects against dust, rain, and humidity
- Corrosion-resistant finish for UV and coastal environments
- Vermin ingress protection to help protect sensitive electrical components
- Long-life, industrial-grade components designed for demanding sites
Connectivity & Access Control Integration
Designed to adapt to changing site requirements, the CS Maxima integrates with a range of access control technologies and provides real-time visibility, monitoring and programmable automation.
Connectivity Features
- Smartphone integration (Apple CarPlay + Android Auto) — operate or monitor the gate directly from your vehicle or device
- Access logging & reporting — track all entries and exits for improved security and management
- Universal access control compatibility — supports remotes, keypads, proximity cards, intercoms, and existing systems
- Programmable automation — schedule opening and closing times to suit site operations

Safety and Compliance
We do not treat safety devices as add-ons. Over decades of installing and servicing Sunshine Coast car park boom gates, we have seen what happens on sites where those devices were left off the order.
Imported units are a common source of the problem. They often arrive without the full range of safety equipment an Australian installation requires, so somebody has to specify and source those parts separately. Sometimes, nobody does.
Our boom gates take a different approach. Safety is built into the standard specification from the outset, so vehicles, pedestrians and site users are protected from the first day of operation. The standard safety features are designed to support Work Health & Safety and Disability Discrimination Act requirements, rather than relying on devices added later as an upgrade.
Standard Safety Features
Amber Warning Light
For clear visual indication during operation
Red/green status LEDs
To signal open and closed positions
Audible warning alarm
To alert pedestrians and drivers
Emergency stop button
For immediate shutdown in the event of an incident
Manual Release
For safe operation during power loss or overrides
In-ground vehicle detection loops
To prevent closing on vehicles
Photoelectric safety beams
That stop or reverse the arm if movement is detected
Adjustable opening and closing speeds
To suit site conditions and reduce mechanical wear
Power & Energy Efficiency
CS Maxima uses energy-efficient technology to reduce operating costs and minimise environmental impact without compromising performance or reliability.
Energy-efficient LED boom lighting
Lightweight aluminium boom arms (fully recyclable)
Spring-balanced mechanism for reduced motor strain
Demand-based activation via in-ground loops and PE beams
Long-life component selection designed to support reliability and reduce unnecessary replacement
Built-In Diagnostics. Minimise Downtime. Lower Operating Costs.
Our Sunshine Coast boom gates run live diagnostics as standard, so a fault is reported the moment it appears rather than when someone notices a gate is down. The reporting goes further than a simple alert. It narrows the fault to its source, which tells you whether the boom gate is the problem or whether an integrated system, such as access control, is behind it.
Knowing the source of a fault changes what happens next. You can engage the right service provider immediately, rather than paying for a call-out that goes to the wrong trade. Few boom gates on the Australian market offer that level of fault visibility, and over the life of an installation it adds up to fewer wasted service visits.

Designed for a Wide Range of Applications
The CS Maxima is suited to vehicle access applications across a wide range of sites and environments:
- Car parks & shopping centres
- Apartment complexes & gated communities
- Retirement villages
- Industrial facilities & warehouses
- Schools, universities & education campuses
